A spacious 8ft x 4ft Large Cold Frame that’s a versatile gardening solution with an aluminum structure and 3mm toughened safety glass. Proudly manufactured in the UK, this durable cold frame is designed to rest directly on the soil or on a raised base.
The aluminium framework of the cold frame comes with a remarkable 25-year guarantee, ensuring its long-lasting performance. Enhanced with stainless steel fixings, this cold frame is built to withstand the test of time.
Thanks to the 3mm toughened safety glass, this cold frame effectively captures the warmth of the early spring sun while providing stability against strong winds. The rigid glass panels maintain their integrity even under heavy snow loads.
Convenient sliding doors offer easy access and allow for adjustable ventilation, ranging from a slight opening in early spring to wide-open during the summer. Additionally, the roof panels can be effortlessly slid open for improved access and excellent airflow. In warmer months, the roof panels can be removed to regulate temperature while still offering protection from the wind.
The Large Cold Frame is specifically designed for cultivating early soil-grown crops, including garden vegetables. It complements a greenhouse by creating a well-ventilated area where delicate plants can thrive before being transplanted into the garden.
