2-in-1 Mode for Richer Storytelling
The innovative 2-in-1 mode allows users to combine two vertical still images or videos into a single frame. This can be done directly in the camera, making it easy to create diptychs and storytelling sequences on the go. You can also create and refine these compositions using the dedicated X Half app, which offers additional editing tools such as divider adjustments and image swapping.
Experience Film Photography in the Digital Era
The Film Camera Mode is one of the most exciting features of the X Half. Users begin by selecting a film simulation and the number of exposures. As in traditional film photography, images cannot be reviewed until the full set of shots has been taken. Between each image, the user manually advances the frame using the top-mounted lever, enhancing the nostalgic experience. Once complete, the photos can be digitally developed using the X Half app.

Fujifilm’s legendary Film Simulations are at the heart of the X Half experience. With 13 available options, including the new REALA ACE simulation, users can explore a wide variety of colour palettes and tonal moods. Additional filters such as Light Leak, Halation, and Expired Film bring a vintage touch to digital photography. A Grain Effect option and a Date Stamp feature further enhance the authentic film-like look.

The X Half is equipped with a one-inch back-illuminated sensor and a fixed 32mm f/2.8 lens, equivalent to a 35mm field of view. This setup delivers crisp, vibrant images and is ideal for general photography, travel, and everyday scenes. The lens choice also echoes the iconic look and feel of Fujifilm’s QuickSnap disposable cameras.
Vintage Style with Modern Usability
Styled after classic film cameras, the X Half features tactile controls, including an aperture ring and a frame advance lever. The body is available in three stylish finishes: Silver, Charcoal Silver, and Black. Despite its retro look, the camera offers a modern user interface, with dual LCD touchscreens that respond to swipes and taps for quick access to settings and shooting modes.
Easy Sharing and Seamless Workflow
With built-in Bluetooth, the X Half pairs effortlessly with the X Half app on your smartphone. You can transfer photos and videos, create and share 2-in-1 compositions, and print directly using instax Link printers. The app also supports ordering physical prints and viewing your images in gallery-style formats, making it easy to enjoy your photos on screen or in your hands.
