Jupiter

Jupiter by Garry Hunt and Patrick Moore

From the Mitchell Beazley Library of Astronomical Atlases for Amateur and Professional Observers Series.

The giant planet Jupiter had been the object intensive study in the years leading up to this book’s publication in 1981.  Four space probes, Pioneer 10 & 11, and Voyager 1 & 2, dramatically increased our knowledge and understanding of both the planet and its satellite systems, while providing some of the most spectacular photographs of this gas giant.

Published in 1981 in association with the Royal Astronomical Society, this historic edition is presented in excellent condition, having previously been in the careful posession of an amateur astronomer.
