Benefits to UK Wildlife

While tulips are not the most beneficial for wildlife, their early blooms provide a nectar source for pollinators like bees when few other flowers are available.

Planting Tips

• Plant bulbs in autumn, from September to November.
• Choose a sunny spot with well-drained soil.
• Plant bulbs 10-15cm deep and 10-15cm apart.
• Water after planting, then only during dry spells.

For best results, plant in groups of 10 or more for a dramatic display. These tulips return reliably for 2-3 years, though flowering may diminish over time.
